01 — ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

This House presents an exhibition of work by Lucy Auge, Ellie Cottrell, Elizabeth Lenny and Misa Gott. Opens 12th March
Whisper, Softly explores work that dwells in quiet moments and tender shifts, as we gently ease back the blanket of winter. Situated within the seasonal threshold between winter and spring this exhibition deals in muted colour and restrained gestures, with an emphasis on intimacy. The show proposes quiet as an active condition; like the first signs of thaw, lengthening light, softened air, the slow return of colour these works invite pause and attentiveness.

Whisper, Softly is an offering of calm and care, reminding us that change often arrives not all at once, but slowly in the spaces of quiet in between. A programme of restorative events will accompany the show - see our events schedule for more details.
