Weekly Roundup No. 38

i. Drove to Compton Verney to check it out for a future project. I had no idea what it was going to be like when I arrived, It was such a beautiful place. The grounds are designed by Capability Brown, and it is a huge stately building. They have a vast British folk art collection which I had never really seen on mass, really inspiring. The thing I really liked about the place was all the attention to detail in the curation from the handwritten signage to the linen-bound gallery guides. Hope I sold it to you, its worth the trip.

ii.  As I had driven all that way I thought I would carry on driving and visit Rousham House & Gardens, It has been on my list to visit for a while. The Rill I am sure like everyone else was my favourite part, I found it a very romantic garden, with all its secluded seating areas.

iii.  Watched two films this week couldn't be more different from each other, Florida Project and The Greatest Showman.

iv.  Spotted my favourite shop in Los Angeles has had a website revamp. I could spend all my money in this shop.
