International Shipping Options: Framed & Unframed

Many of our collectors are based overseas, and we regularly ship artwork worldwide with great care and attention. Whether you prefer your piece framed and ready to hang or unframed for faster delivery and local presentation, we offer two trusted options to suit your needs:

Option 1: Framed Artwork

Available for all artworks

Framing is available as an additional service, with pricing listed separately for each piece. Every frame is bespoke and made to museum-quality standards, crafted to complement and protect the artwork. Shipping for framed works is quoted individually—we obtain competitive rates from a range of trusted international couriers.

Benefits:

Artwork arrives fully framed and ready to hang, with no additional preparation needed.
Each frame is custom-made to suit the specific work and is built to last.
Framing through us removes the stress of finding a trusted framer, and with exclusive studio rates, it’s often more affordable than local options.

Important Details:

The framing process typically takes 5–6 weeks, including the construction of a custom crate to safely transport the artwork.

Option 2: Unframed Shipping

Available for panel pieces, graphite works, and etchings only

For quicker delivery and a more economical option, certain works can be shipped unframed. These are carefully disassembled and packaged to archival standards in a custom-made box, handcrafted by expert artisans—recently commissioned to produce the Bibles for the King’s coronation.

Benefits:

Immediate dispatch—no wait time for framing or crate production.
The cost of the frame is not applied, giving you flexibility to frame the piece locally.

Detailed framing guidelines are sent with the artwork to make sure the artwork is framed correctly by a professional framer.

A freshly framed artwork, ready for international delivery. Each frame is custom-made to museum standards, tailored specifically to complement and protect the piece.

This is the typical presentation when you select the framing option. The artwork is securely packed in a custom-built crate, prepared for safe international transport. We work with a specialist art shipping company with over 50 years of experience handling and delivering fine art worldwide.

OPTION 2 - SHIPPING UNFRAMED

Only my panel artworks—recognisable by their two-toned compositions—can be shipped unframed internationally, as they are the only larger pieces designed to be safely disassembled for compact shipping. Graphite works and etchings, being smaller in size, can also be shipped unframed.

The artwork is carefully packaged in its panelled state, with acid-free tissue paper placed between each panel to ensure safe transport and preserve its integrity.
